The Geometry of Consciousness

چکیده
The typical dimensions of an object are length, width and depth, each measured along certain lines ninety degrees apart from each other. For you Einsteinians, we include time, which is quite a different animal than the basic three, and which consists only of motion of something three-dimensional relative to the viewer. All dimensions measure distance between points of space-time: like inches, degrees, seconds, etc.

Islamic Architects and Islamic Mathematicians Artistics Meeting, To Utilize Geometry in Architecture The period under study is the fourth to the eleventh AH
In specialized topics of aesthetics, structure and function, the buildings of Islamic architecture in Iran during certain periods, show the strong presence of intellectual sciences such as mathematics. The use of geometry as a part of the science of numerical mathematics, which in its intellectual position has complex calculations, indicates the connection of Islamic architects with the mathema...
متن کاملNaturalizing Self-Consciousness
The crucial problem of self-consciousness is how to account for knowing self-reference without launching into a regress or without presupposing self-consciousness rather than accounting for it (circle). In the literature we find two bottom-up proposals for solving the traditional problem: the postulation of nonconceptual forms of self-consciousness and the postulation of a pre-reflexive form of...
متن کاملExploring the Educational Status of the Art of Film to achieve consciousness as a Requirement for Education
This study is to examine the educational status of the art of film as to describe the ways of achieving the concept of consciousness as the requirement for education. Findings show that through exploring a film, as to come up with consciousness, it is possible to have inductions and deductions from a film and its audience. With this presumption that a film is similar to a content of the textboo...

This paper reviews the present status of the material dualist theory of brain–consciousness relations. I cover first the history of its development by Priestly, Broad, Price, Carr, Jourdan, and myself. The theory is then described with its basis in higher-dimensional geometry, the phenomenology of consciousness, the neurological concept of the body image, and the application of Leibniz’s Law to...
متن کاملNumber Theory in Geometry
The topic of my talk is number theory in geometry. I will say a few words about history of mathematics to show how geometry has played an important role in the development of mathematics. I will also mention some contributions of Indian Mathematicians of antiquity since these are not widely known. Humans, and apparently some animals too, can and need to count. We count discrete objects, such as...
متن کاملEffect of Auditory Stimulation by Recitation of Prayers (Azan) on Consciousness Level of Comatose Patients: a Clinical Trial
Background and Objectives: Traumatic brain injury and resulted coma are major causes of death and disability. Coma stimulation techniques are recently proposed to improve coma status. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of hearing Azan on level of consciousness among patients. Materials and Methods: In this clinical trial, 33 patients with coma were randomly divided into two interven...
